The old trailer spindle is cut off at behind the oil seal and a new spindle is sleeved into the housing. Using both a shrink fit and plug welds, new chromoly tubing is welded in place. We replace the broken trailer spindle on vehicles 3/4 tons and up, and replace spider plates on heavy-duty trailers. In addition, we repair the damaged trailer spindle without removing the axle housing from the truck. Our trailer spindle replacements can usually be completed in three hours or less.
